April Showers Bring May Primaries

We’re counting down to the Primaries on May 16 with many of our neighbors throwing their hat into the ring. Samantha Jouin is running for Great Valley School Board – Region 1 and both Chris Demas and Scott Lambert are running for East Whiteland Supervisor. Best of luck to all of our candidates!

It Takes A Village

Anyone running for office knows it takes a whole team to get out the vote! This month many of our members were outside in the rain knocking on doors or at the kitchen table stuffing literature into plastic sleeves. Everyone and every effort makes a big difference come election day!

Vicki Damiani and Cameron Peltz spent an afternoon folding and stuffing hundreds of letters for Samantha Jouin’s school board campaign.

Meanwhile, Samantha logged hours of weekend meet ‘n greets in Charlestown and East Whiteland homes.

Looking ahead to 2018

It’s not just this year’s local elections but next year’s all-important 6th Congressional District that’s on our minds. We welcomed candidate Bob Detorre to our April meeting. He shared his passion for the region and why he is running for Congress.

East Whiteland/Charlestown Dems welcomed 6th Congressional District candidate Bob Detorre (2nd from right) with Bob Eshelman, Assistant Zone Leader; Marsha Peltz, Zone Leader and Kathleen Keohane, Tredyffrin Zone Leader.

A few days later, Bob was written up in the Daily Local News, announcing his bid the 6th District.
